Kelley Larkin started her career as a professional dancer, then moved on to be one of the most successful teachers/ choreographers in the dance world. Many of her students have moved on to a professional career in dance. Her students have gone on to dance for Broadway, Disney, music videos, film, and nationally ranked college dance teams. She has choreographed for industrials, TV, films, and commercials. She is also involved in casting and gives many students the opportunity to appear in movies.
Danielle Larkin Danielle comes from a nationally renowned dance family and studied dance with the Larkin Dance Studio in Minnesota for 16 years. Her performance credits include Star Search, Polaris commercials and industrials, special Disney performance with Vanessa Williams, Super Bowl XXXIII half-time show with tap dancer Savion Glover, Stevie Wonder, Glorida Estefan, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Danielle has been awarded numerous awards for her choreography and is an inspiration to all of the dancers.
Emily Raiche Emily comes to us from Minnesota, where she also trained at Larkin Dance Studio. Emily is in charge of the tap program at Studio L and also helps teach our competitive team. Along with teaching, Emily is head of the music department and is in charge of editing, mixing and mastering all of the music for the studio. Aside from dance, Emily was recently licensed as a registered nurse for the State of NJ.
Jessica Fernandez Jessica was born in Pembroke Pines, Florida she started dancing at 3 years old. Jessica turned professional with the Miami City Ballet at the age of 14. At 18, she became a soloist with ballet Gamanet & Miami Contemporary Dance Company. Jessica then went on to be a part of the top 20 on “So You Think You Can Dance”. After touring with SYTYCD, Jessica toured with Shakira. She has performed with many artists such as Pitbull & NERD to name a few.
Jamie Gallo Jamie was born in Plymouth, Michigan where she started dancing at age 5. She has been trained by many well known choreographers along with traveling and assisting them around the area. She has performed in Pre-shows and halftime shows for the Detroit Pistons basketball team as well as appeared on the show Extreme Forensics on Investigation Discovery. Jamie teaches our once a week program along with our competitive team.
Nicole LaGuardia Danced at RHPAC under the instruction of Kelley and Danielle Larkin. Nicole attended Arizona State University where she earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She spent four years on the nationally ranked Sun Devil Dance Team, two of which she was captain. She has danced in the Superbowl XLII Halftime Show and was featured as Sports Illustrated’s Cheerleader of the week.
Marci Kyme Graduated from the University of Miami with a BA in Management and a Minor in Marketing. She was the Vice President of the New York Health and Racquet club for 15 years. After working in Manhattan, she went on to open her own design store for 10 years. Marci now works as an office manager at Studio L.
Diane Lockhart Diane hails from London, England. She performed as a professional dancer and appeared in many TV shows, Broadway Shows and films. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dancing and the International Dance Teachers Association. She now competes as a ballroom dancer on the pro/am circuit and is the New England 10 dance champion. Diane now leads our Ballroom program and Studio L.
Lorraine Sherba Lorraine has been a competitive dancer and gymnast since the age of five. She was a member of The New Generation Dance Company and Imperial Gymnastics team and has received many successful awards throughout her career. Lorraine is in charge of our Acro program and has been a great addition to our Studio.
Nicole Guidetti Serapiglia Nicole started dance when she was only 3 years old and is currently a top professional dancer with a long career of notable performances. She has danced with various artists such as: P. Diddy, Beyonce, Ashanti, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Mario Vazquez, Ricky Martin, Lil’ Eddie, Thalia, Sean Paul, Smashmouth, Musiq, and the NYC Knicks Dancers. She has guest starred on “Law & Order: SVU.” Nicole continues to pursue her dancing and acting career and we are excited to have her as part of the Studio L faculty.
Alex Lapes was born and raised in the New York metropolitan area and comes to us from a family of dancers. She began dancing at the age of 3, training and competing in jazz, tap, ballet, and hip-hop. After graduating NYU with a B.A. in Hotel Management, Alex tried ballroom dancing and fell in love. She began rigorously training and competing in the pro/am circuit, going on to win many 1st place titles in Latin and Rhythm styles – at numerous ballroom competitions. Recently, she choreographed ballroom pieces for a new Broadway musical – “Time, Romance, and Dance”. Alex continues to train and compete in ballroom and is very excited to be a part of the Studio L staff.
Jill Casella grew up dancing under the instruction of Kelley and Danielle Larkin. Jill is a recent graduate of Muhlenberg College where she earned a B.A. in Media and Communications and Dance. She has had extensive experience teaching young children over the past four years and was a dedicated member and captain of Muhlenberg’s Hip Hop Dance Team. Jill is a teacher of our recreational program as well as our competitive team. She is glad to be back and a part of the Studio L staff.
Tyler Glovin has been dancing under the direction of Kelley and Danielle Larkin for twelve years. In his dance career he has been on TV shows such as Jack’s Big Music Show, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and America’s Got Talent. Tyler has performed at halftime shows for the New York Mets, New York Knicks, and the Brooklyn Nets. Since graduating in 2013, Tyler has been managing our boys program and is very excited to start his dance career as the newest member of the Studio L Staff.
Lynda Madison is a classically trained singer, actor and songwriter, with a B.A. in music and theatre arts from Scripps College, as well as additional training at HB studio and the Pasadena Playhouse. As an award-winning vocalist, Lynda has performed all styles of music and has been in numerous lead roles both in regional and national venues. She has been teaching and sharing her love for music and acting with children of all ages. Many of her students have gone on to roles on Broadway, national tours, TV and film- even an “American Idol” winner.
Geno Forliti has been teaching dance for over 25 years. He has worked with Star Power, Dance Educators of America, Dance Olympus, Dance Masters, NAADA, Dance Magic and many more. He also has taught countless workshops & seminars in the U.S, Canada and London. His students & choreography have won some of the highest acclaimed awards and many of his students have also been featured on prestigious stages including Broadway, Star Search, SYTYCD and many other television movies/shows. Geno himself, has been seen on commercials for Dairy Queen, Wendys, Mcdonalds, MTV, Body Glove, British Knight Tennis shoes to name a few…and was also a Grand Champion on Star Search. Geno has performed with such names as Ben Vereen, M.C. Hammer, Vannessa Williams, Prince and other Stars in his repertoire.
Michael Burke has been a gymnastics instructor for over 25 years. Michael has been a clinician for State & Regional seminars in addition to his safety certification training in the Midwest area. He has worked with students on the Junior Olympic team and has judged gymnastics at the National & Junior Olympic levels for over 13 years. Mike has judged for Dance Competitions in the upper Midwest area during the past 4 years. He has also taught at numerous dance workshops in Minnesota, Wisconsin and the East Coast. Michael has instructed for many award winning dance schools, helping specialty tricks, creative combos and acro skills in dancers routines. He specialized in tumbling during his gymnastics career & was sought after by Cirque du Soleil. He has performed on stage in numerous musicals and competitions.
