Danielle Larkin comes from a nationally renowned dance family and studied dance with The Larkin Dance Studio in Minnesota for 16 years. Her performance credits include Star Search, Polaris commercials and industrials, special Disney performances with Vanessa Williams, Super Bowl XXXIII half time show with tap dancer Savion Glover, Stevie Wonder, Gloria Estefan, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Danielle has been awarded numerous awards for her choreography and is an inspiration to all of the dancers.
Born in Plymouth, Michigan; Jamie started dancing at the age of 5. She has been trained by many well-known choreographers along with traveling and assisting them around the area. She has performed in pre-shows and halftime shows for the Detroit Pistons basketball team as well as appeared on the show Extreme Forensics on Investigation Discovery. Jamie teaches our recreational program, as well as our competitive team.
Emily comes to us from Minnesota, where she was trained at the Larkin Dance Studio. Emily is in charge of the Tap Program at Studio L for our competitive team. Along with teaching, Emily is the head of the music department and is in charge of editing, mixing and mastering all of the music for the studio. Aside from dance, Emily was recently licensed as a registered nurse for the State of NJ.
Steve began his dance training in the early 90’s in Minnesota. He was then cast as the Prince in the Beauty and the Beast in Disney World and opened the Tarzan show as the lead dancer. Steve worked in film and television including Exxon commercials and the VEVO awards. In his 20 year career has has landed at Studio L amongst some of the top talent in the country. His love for dance, passion for choreography, and strong technique training keeps his kids motivated, determined, and striving for excellence!
Jennifer began her dance training at the age of 4. Throughout her many years of competitive dance Jennifer has won numerous top awards. She has been teaching all ages and many styles of dance since the age of seventeen. She has choreographed for many competitive dance and cheerleading teams in New Jersey. Jennifer has also danced for a professional modern company Freespace Dance in Verona, NJ, where she performed in many benefit concerts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She has also performed in Walt Disney World as a parade performer for three years.
Kristina started dancing at the age of 3. She has trained in all areas of dance including lyrical, contemporary, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, ballet, and pointe. She began competing at a regional and national level at the age of 6. Kristina graduated from Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School’s Dance Honors Program. She has performed at Alvin Ailey in New York City, Two Rivers Theater in Red Bank New Jersey, and performed live on Good Morning America. Kristina continues to develop her dance skills by taking classes at one of the most renowned dance schools in New York City, Broadway Dance Center. She has participated in numerous dance workshops including The Pulse, studying with choreographers Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, and Kristina is thrilled to join the many talented teachers at Studio L of Bridgewater. She is looking forward to working with and enhancing the talent of these wonderful young dancers!
Tyler Glovin has been dancing under the direction of Kelley and Danielle Larkin for 13 years. In his dance career has has been on TV shows such as Jack’s Big Music Show, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and America’s Got Talent. Tyler has performed at halftime shows for the New York Mets, New York Knicks, and the Brooklyn Nets. Since graduating in 2013, Tyler has been managing our Boys Program and is very excited to start his dance career as a full time Studio L Staff member.
Katie Fierro is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a BA in Dance. She has been teaching all ages and styles of dance since the age of seventeen all over the state of NJ and PA. She has interned with the American Dance Festival where she worked with Ann Teresa de Keersmaeker, Bill T. Jones, Rosie Herrara, Paul Taylor, & Pilobolus. For the past 4 years she was the Director of the Competition Program at Dancexpress in Warren, NJ. She has recently joined the faculty for International Dance Challenge and American Dance Awards and is certified as a Dance Educator by the NJ Department of Education.
Danny Higgins has been a professional tumbler, dunker, and cheerleader for the NBA for over 9 seasons. His tumbling career has included but is not limited to performances in London, Madrid, China, the Philippines, and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Danny is a stagehand for the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City, as well as a tumbler for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Gabriela has a strong background in dance, gymnastics, and all-star cheerleading. Gabriela competed in cheerleading for 13 years. She has a silver medal from the world championships, and over 20 national championship titles. Her professional career includes performing at the 2015 NBA All Star Games and choreography/tumbling instruction across the country.
