Danced under the direction of Kelley & Danielle Larkin. Nicole attended Arizona State University where she earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She spent four years on the nationally ranked Sun Devil Dance Team, two of which she was captain. She has danced in the Superbowl XLII Halftime Show, was featured as Sport’s Illustrated Cheerleader of the Week, is a Knicks City Dancer Alumni, and recently dancer for the TV show: Lip Sync Battle.
Katie Fierro is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a BA in Dance. She has been teaching all ages and styles of dance since the age of seventeen all over the state of NJ and PA. She has interned with the American Dance Festival where she worked with Ann Teresa de Keersmaeker, Bill T. Jones, Rosie Herrara, Paul Taylor, & Pilobolus. For the past 4 years she was the Director of the Competition Program at Dancexpress in Warren, NJ. She has recently joined the faculty for International Dance Challenge and American Dance Awards and is certified as a Dance Educator by the NJ Department of Education.
Jessica West Regan
Jessica began her dance training at age 3 in Toronto, Canada at Linda Collins School of Ballet. Throughout her 15 years of competitive dance, Jessica won top awards for technique, style and dancing ability in numerous regional and national competitions. After high school, Jessica was accepted to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She continued her dance studies at The New School University in Manhattan under their scholarship program. Jessica has starred in the Off Broadway smash hit, The Awesome 80s Prom. Other NYC roles include dancing alongside Broadway veterans and legends, such as Brenda Braxton, Andrea McArdle, and Daphne Rubin-Vega, in the production of Chicago on the Rosie O’Donnell cruise line and many more.
Jessica began her dance training at the age of three. From an early age she fell in love with dance and grew up taking various classes in Jazz, Tap, HipHop and Ballet, as well as dancing with her studio’s HipHop Competition Team. She went on to obtain a BS in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education and an MA in Dance Education both from New York University. She also holds a ‘Kat Wildish Ballet4Adults’ Teaching Certificate. Jessica has trained extensively at various NYC studios including Broadway Dance Center’s audition-only Training Program where she focused her studies on Ballet and Tap. She has performed at renowned venues such as Alvin Ailey, Symphony Space, Carnegie Hall, and Madison Square Garden just to name a few. She has taught at various studios in New Jersey and New York City and is excited to be bringing her expertise and passion for dance to Studio L.
Sharyn comes to us with over ten years dance instruction and administrative experience. She studied dance at SUNY Brockport and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Arts with a Dance Concentration from Ramapo College, as well as growing up dancing and being trained under Christy Kugler, Oscar Ruge, Irine Fokine, and Garth Fagan to name a few. Aside from teaching she has also choreographed several musicals for Suffern High School from 2007 through 2012. While dance has always been Sharyn’s first passion, her latest is aerial dance and aerial yoga. Sharyn continues to expand her knowledge, training, and experience throughout New York and New Jersey to enhance herself and her students. She has been an aerial dance and aerial yoga instructor for two years now.
Steve began his dance training in the early 90’s in Minnesota. He was then cast as the Prince in the Beauty and the Beast in Disney World and opened the Tarzan show as the lead dancer. Steve worked in film and television including Exxon commercials and the VEVO awards. In his 20 year career has has landed at Studio L amongst some of the top talent in the country. His love for dance, passion for choreography, and strong technique training keeps his kids motivated, determined, and striving for excellence!
Danny Higgins has been a professional tumbler, dunker, and cheerleader for the NBA for over 9 seasons. His tumbling career has included but is not limited to performances in London, Madrid, China, the Philippines, and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Danny is a stagehand for the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City, as well as a tumbler for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
With both national and world championship titles, Vanya has over 10 years of experience in professional acrobatics and dance. Vanya has a Bachelor’s Degree in in Coaching for Acrobatic Gymnastics from the National Sports Academy located in Sofia, Bulgaria. Vanya has performed as a professional dancer in concerts, television, and music videos.
Gabriela has a strong background in dance, gymnastics, and all-star cheerleading. Gabriela competed in cheerleading for 13 years. She has a silver medal from the world championships, and over 20 national championship titles. Her professional career includes performing at the 2015 NBA All Star Games and choreography/tumbling instruction across the country.
